There are currently 15 trainable skills in Ravenfall.

 Attack, Defense, Strength, Health, Magic, Ranged, Woodcutting, Fishing, Mining, Crafting, Cooking, Farming, Slayer, Sailing, and Healing.

Enchanting is listed on the Character display in game for characters who are part of a clan but there is currently no way to train Enchanting.

Most skills can be directly trained by the player by typing "!train (skill name)" into chat once there character has joined a server. Health is trained passively through combat. Slayer is trained passively through completing Raids and Dungeons.

Attack[edit | edit source]

Mostly governs what melee weapons can be equipped.

Defense[edit | edit source]

Governs what armor can be equipped.

Strength[edit | edit source]

Governs how much damage a melee attack does.

Health[edit | edit source]

How much hit points a player has.

Magic[edit | edit source]

Ranged combat. Governs damage done by magic attacks. Allows players to equip higher tier staffs.

Ranged[edit | edit source]

Ranged combat. Governs damage done with a bow and arrow. Allows players to equip higher tier bows.

Healing[edit | edit source]

Support Skill. Governs how much hit points players can restore when healing other players who are in combat.

Mining[edit | edit source]

When training Mining the mining level dictates what ore type you receive. Any ore can be gained from any of the mining locations as long as the character has the required level.

As well as specialty ores mining will always produce generic ore. Ore is used in the crafting process to create Ore Ingot at a rate of 10:1. All weapon and armor crafting requires Ore Ingot.
